What the image shows
This is an engraved print showing the interior of a large dwelling with a steeply pitched thatched roof, timber roof beams and a central wooden post. Several people sit and stand on the sandy floor: a woman holds a child in a seated group at centre, a figure in a long robe stands at right, and others sit in the left and right foreground, with a child climbing the central post. The title inscription printed beneath the scene reads "The Inside of a House in Oonalashka" with the engraver's credit "Hawkins sculp."Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
