What the image shows
A sepia-toned engraved portrait of a man shown from the waist up, turned slightly to the left, with powdered hair tied back and a light smile. He wears an ornate embroidered coat with a broad sash across his chest and frilled white cuffs, and rests one hand on a dark curved object in the lower left. The plain dark background fades into clouds, and a copyright line and engraver's credit appear in small print along the bottom edge.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
