Compton 26th March 1817.Lieut. Col. Lewis GugyYou will doubtless receive from Mr Bangs by Tuesday's Post, a Letter instructing you to suspend all proceedings relative to the sale of my property advertised to be sold on the Seventh April, as Mr Bangs agrees to write you to that effect immediately upon the arrival at Montreal, which will be this evening extraordinary expedite.Farnsworth Suggested the idea that if Sam Costs and the were not previously cancelled, such circumstance might operate as an obstacle to your ordering a suspension of the sale. At all events it appears to me you would instruct your Bailiff to suspend the sale, in obedience to the Plaintiff's order, until you have apprised the Plaintiff that you expect them previously to arrange the Costs, and await the event of the answer.I therefore hope and trust you will at least order the Bailiff to postpone the sale until Mr Bangs is made acquainted with the Circumstance11159Campden 26th March 1819Lieut Col GwynYou will shortly receive from Mr Bangs by tomorrow's post a letterto suspend the sale in Chancery to the Plaintiff's order, until you haveMention Hope and trust you will at least order the Bailiffs to suspend the sale until Mr BangsCampdon 26th March 1817Dear Col GugyCampdonRead automatically; may contain mistakes.
