What the image shows
A handwritten letter in dense brown-black ink on aged, yellowed paper, filling the page top to bottom with closely spaced lines of cursive script. A signature appears at the lower right and a faded handwritten marginal note sits along the top left, with a red and blue stamp and printed archive marking at the bottom.
