- What the image shows
- This is a handwritten and printed-style 18th-century military discharge document on aged, yellowed paper, shown as a flat scan of a whole sheet. The heading in large looping script reads "Congé Militaire" and the text below is in French, with a red wax seal at the lower left and several handwritten signatures and marginal notes at the bottom. The top left corner shows the word "Canada" written in ink, and a sheet of official text fills the centre.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
