- Scope & content
- Series consists of 108 digital audio files, 84 transcripts, 82 indices, 18 scanned photographs, and 1 location map related to the Harbord Village oral histories project that was administered by the Harbord Village Residents' Association (HVRA) in 2012 to 2013 with support from the University of Toronto's Museum Studies department and community volunteers. The oral histories project documents life in the Harbord Village neighbourhood between 1930-1980, drawing on common experiences from its diverse residents over that time period. Records include recorded interviews with long-term residents of the Harbord Village community by Eleanor Levine, as well as thematic audio compilations of excerpts from the oral history interviews that were created by Nicole Schulman. Digital content in this series derives from the Oral History Project section of the Harbord Residents' Association website. Access copies of the sound recordings, transcripts, and indices are attached to the item-level descriptions in this series as MP3 audio files, JPEG images, and PDF documents.
