Scope & content
File consists of 15 photographs of a section of Scarlett Road, between Lawrence Avenue West and Dixon Road, showing existing conditions, prior to widening. The widening was part of a project extending Lawrence Avenue West west across the Humber River, and linking it with Dixon Road via a widened Scarlett Road. Visible on one of the photographs are Hall's Drugs, Dixon's Snack bar and a Supertest service station, all at the corner of Scarlett and Dixon roads.
