Scope & content
Subseries consists of photographs of roads and bridges around Toronto. Arranged chronologically, photographs provide views of numerous bridges and underpasses not otherwise documented in individual subseries within Series 372. Photographs also record accidents (fire damage, railcar jumping the tracks) and instances of structural failure (washouts, collapse).In addition to the focus on roads and bridges, there are a group of photographs of boats and docks, as well as images documenting cement and concrete testing.
