Scope & content
File consists of two copies of a poster showcasing features of the proposed Scadding Court Community Centre project in the Dundas and Bathurst St. neighbourhood. The project, which was developed by an Advisory Board and local residents, secured land and a commitment for capital funding from the City of Toronto, the Toronto Board of Education, and the Toronto Library Board in March 1976. Using floor plans and an isometric plan view of the site, the poster highlights the following features: library extension and craft/meeting rooms; the Older Adult Centre; the Gym Hall; the Youth Club; the Summer Court; the Winter Court; the Garden Court; child care facility; and pool.
