- B'NAI B'RITHBENEVOLENCE, BROTHERLY LOVE AND HARMONYTo all whom it may concern:Know ye that DISTRICT GRAND LODGE NO ONE located in the City of NEW YORK State of NEW YORK at a regular meeting held on the 3rd day of DECEMBER 1937 (5718) upon the application of Brothershas granted a Charter for a Lodge to be known by the name, style and title of PARLIAMENT LODGE No.2139, to hold its sessions in the city of OTTAWA CANADA: ACCORDINGLY, we the undersigned Officers of DISTRICT GRAND LODGE No.1 do hereby AUTHORIZE and EMPOWER the above named well beloved brethren and their successors, duly and legally elected, to constitute said LODGE under the name above stated and confer upon them all the Rights and Privileges guaranteed to a LODGE by the Constitution of the Order.Provided always, that the said above named brethren and their successors, as in duty bound pay due respect and perform the Mandates of DISTRICT GRAND LODGE No. 1 under penalty of forfeiting this Charter.Given under our hands and the seal of DISTRICT GRAND LODGE No. 1 this 22nd day of NOVEMBER 1937 (5718).cjhn.caRead automatically; may contain mistakes.
