The website of NWT Archives is down (for about 5 hours)

Its images and links won't load until it's back. Panarchive shows each image straight from the archive's own website, so when that site is down the picture can't be shown here. Nothing is lost: everything returns once the archive is back up, and we check every few minutes.

Scope & content
Records were created by Bear Exploration and Radium Ltd. in the course of their work on claims and mines in the Yellowknife area in the late 1940s. The records appear to be predominently those of BEAR's NWT Manager of Operations, Hugh Fraser, and include payroll and employment records, correspondence, licences, prospectors' agreements, assay certificates, certificates of work, drill hole records, reports, and maps of claims, geological features, and work done, for several groups of claims in the Yellowknife area, including Atlas, Greyling, Admiral, Ace, Quyta, Daw, Yellowrex, Jacknife, Neptune, BYG, and Beulah Gold Mines. The files have been arranged by the Archivist with reference to the numerical classification scheme used by BEAR, although these files weren't specifically labelled with classification numbers.
