Scope & content
Ian Hodkinson, chief curator of the National Gallery of Canada inspects the Machzikei Hadas murals, directed the removal of the murals from Machzikei Hadas Synagogue prior to the demolition of the synagogue building. Here he is pointing out an interesting feature to Martin Weil, Past President, Heritage Ottawa; Reesa Greenberg, Chairman of the Save the Murals Committee; and Sol Shinder, first Vice-President, Jewish Community Council of Ottawa.
