Letter - 1944 Ottawa Zionist Society letter from J. C. Horwitz, Secretary and Simon J. Ritt, President addressed to Dear Zionists.... Minutes - 1954-1966 - 2 files Minutes of executive meetings of the Men's Zionist Society of Ottawa, and of the Dominion Council Executive of the Zionist Men's Association of Canada. Financial Records - 1956 - 1 page List of receipts and disbursements. Reports - 1958-1962 - 1 file Reports of Judaean activities as well as activity reports of the Men's Zionist Society of Ottawa. Membership Lists - 1958-1965 - 1 file Names of local members of the Society along with blank membership cards. Charter Membership Certificate - Blue, B&W; 31x46cm. - October 27, 1964 - Certificate certifies that the Men's Zionist Society of Ottawa is an affiliated society of the Zionist Organization of Canada (stored in oversized materials box). Ballot - 1965 - 1 page A nominating ballot for executive positions within the society. Reports, Educational - 1965 - 1 file Contains four educational reports of interest to the society. Some reports are dated. Constitution of the Men's Zionist Association of Canada - 196? - 1 file. Discusses the purposes of the association as well as rituals and tips on how to conduct executive meetings. Committees - 1966 - 1 file Information outlining the various committees and functions of the Men's Zionist Society of Ottawa. A framed calligraphic charter stating the creation of the Men's Zionist Society of Ottawa, a part of the Zionist Men's Association of Canada - November 5, 1961 (see 4-768). 1. Name changed from Zionist Society of Ottawa to Men's Zionist Society around 1950 and back to Zionist Society of Ottawa in 1965. Records created primarily under the title Men's Zionist Society of Ottawa. See Ottawa Jewish Bulletin article April 18, 1940. 2. Framed certificate wrapped in brown paper and stored with large uprights.
