Le document est un recueil de plans élaborés à des fins d'assurance-incendie. Il représente la ville de Montréal et ses différents quartiers centraux. Les limites territoriales sont les rues Cartier et de Normanville à l'est, l'avenue Wiseman et le chemin de la Côte-Saint-Catherine à l'ouest, la rue Jean-Talon au nord et l'avenue Duluth et la rue Rachel au sud. Le document comprend les planches 267-270, 331-332, 335-336, 343-344, 347-349. Document reçu en mars 1999 de la cartothèque de l'UQAM qui les a acquis en 1997 d'un marchand de livres rares en Ontario à la suite d'une liquidation. Le document est en anglais.
