Ce plan, créé en 1952 et révisé en 1956 et 1962, présente l'ensemble des limites des municipalités et paroisses sur l'île de Montréal. Il montre les annexions successives réalisées par la cité de Montréal, en spécifiant pour chaque municipalité incorporée sa superficie et la date d'annexion. La surface totale de la ville en 1871 est coloriée en rouge tandis que l'étendue projetée de cette même ville dans le plan d'annexion de 1871 est coloriée en bleu. Un tableau présente les superficies successives en acres et en milles de la ville de Montréal entre 1760 et 1959. Le document est majoritairement en français. 1952-1 (ancienne cote) et 514.
