Ce document présente la cité de Montréal et les municipalités avoisinantes, soit le secteur situé entre le fleuve Saint-Laurent au sud, les municipalités de Verdun et de Montréal-Ouest à l'ouest, le boulevard Crémazie au nord et le quartier Mercier à l'est. Le plan précise les territoires couverts par la Montreal Water & Power Co, soit les quartiers Saint-Paul, Saint-Henri, Sainte-Cunégonde, Laurier, Saint-Denis et Maisonneuve, et les municipalités de Westmount, Outremont et Mont-Royal.
