What the image shows
A printed map titled "Map of the City of Montreal" on aged, tan paper, showing a dense grid of streets and blocks running along the bank of the Saint Lawrence River, with the river and Île Sainte-Hélène-area islands visible at the lower right. Some streets are traced in red and green lines, and a compass rose appears near the bottom, with a legend and explanatory text in the lower margin describing paved streets where the street railway has rights. The image is a flat, plan-style cartographic document rather than a photograph.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
