Scope & content

What the image shows
This is a printed plan, titled in capital letters at top left, showing the Pointe-à-Callière area and adjoining part of the City of Montreal with its street grid drawn in fine lines. Buildings are shown as outlined blocks, labelled with names such as General Hospital and St. Joseph Street, and the St. Lawrence River runs along the bottom edge. A legend box with keyed notes and a printed text block in English and French sit below the map, with a compass-style north arrow at the upper right.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
