- Scope & content

- What the image shows
- This is a printed map titled "Montreal 1723" and "Plan de la Ville de Montreal en Canada" on a pale sheet, showing the walled town as a long rectangular layout with streets, fortifications and numbered locations listed in a key along the left edge. A decorative dedication block with text in French fills the right side, and a small engraved view of the town from the river is shown along the bottom. The image is a black-and-white reproduction of an old plan with a handwritten-style caption at the top.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
