An aerial view of the generating station at the Snare Hydro Site. [Snare Rapids powerhouse constructed in 1946, in service October 4/1948. Large building is the staff house which burnt down in June 1980, the other 4 buildings are 3 houses which were moved to Yellowknife in 1964, and the other building is the carpenters shop which is still in service as of April 2019]
