What the image shows
This is a sepia-toned photographic reproduction of a painted portrait of a man with short, tousled hair and side whiskers, shown from the chest up turned slightly to the left. He wears a dark coat over a light waistcoat with a high white collar and dark cravat, and one hand rests on a surface at the lower left. A band of cream margin below the image carries a handwritten signature, and the bottom right corner bears the watermark of the Archives de la Ville de Montréal.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
