What the image shows
A sepia-toned studio portrait of a middle-aged man with short combed hair and wire-rimmed glasses, wearing a dark suit, white shirt and tie, turned slightly to the side and looking toward the viewer. The portrait sits inside a decorative ornamental border with leafy scrolls and a coat of arms at the top, and a block of small printed French text runs along the bottom of the page. It is a printed biographical plate from a publication rather than a loose photograph.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
