What the image shows
A black-and-white engraved or line-drawn head-and-shoulders portrait of a middle-aged man with short, swept-back hair, facing forward with a calm expression. He wears a dark high-collared coat, a white shirt and a dark cravat tied at the throat, set against a plain cream background. A printed caption in capital letters beneath the figure reads LT.-GOVERNOR GORE, and the lower right corner carries the watermark Archives de la Ville de Montréal.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
