What the image shows
A black-and-white halftone reproduction of a formal studio portrait of a man, shown head and shoulders inside an oval vignette on a pale printed page. The man has short hair, a full moustache and beard, and wears a dark jacket with a white shirt collar and a white bow tie or cravat, turned slightly to the side with his gaze directed off to one side. The plain grey backdrop is softly shaded, and a small italic credit line reading Archives de la Ville de Montréal appears in the lower right corner.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
