- What the image shows
- A halftone reproduction of a printed portrait photograph of a middle-aged man with a full beard and receding hair, shown from the shoulders up and turned to his left, wearing a dark suit jacket with a white shirt collar. The plain pale background fades around him, and the page is a yellowed printed sheet. A printed caption along the bottom margin reads Galerie canadienne.—M. Alfred Garneau, followed by a partly legible word and a handwritten archive number.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
