What the image shows
A sepia-toned half-length portrait print of a man in an eighteenth-century military-style dark coat with ornate braided gold-coloured trim, epaulettes on the shoulders, and a small cross-shaped order decoration pinned on the chest. He wears a white frilled cravat at the neck and has powdered, curled hair, turned slightly to the side against a plain grey background. A signature or monogram is scratched into the lower left corner, and a faint credit line reading Archives de la Ville de Montréal appears in the lower right.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
