What the image shows
A hand-coloured lithographic portrait of a man shown from the shoulders up, facing forward with a slightly serious expression. He wears round wire-rimmed spectacles, a dark suit jacket, a light collar and a loosely tied cravat, and his hair is swept back from his forehead. The soft, stippled background is pale cream, and a handwritten signature appears in the lower right, with a small archive credit printed beneath it.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
