- What the image shows
- A black and white photograph taken looking north down a deep excavated trench in a city street, with a wooden shoring frame of vertical posts, horizontal planks and diagonal braces holding up the trench sides. Heaps of excavated earth, stones and broken rubble line both edges, and a stone arch bridge with a parapet and a few vehicles appear in the background between brick buildings. A worker stands on the far right edge of the trench among the spoil, and a faint watermark reading Archives de la Ville de Montréal runs along the lower right corner.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
