What the image shows
A black-and-white photograph looking along a cobbled street where a deep trench has been dug to lay a large cylindrical water main, its pipe sections held between timber shoring. A workman in a light shirt and dark trousers bends over the trench edge beside a wooden plank, with old automobiles parked along the left side and a tall church tower with a statue on top in the background. On the right, a railway track runs beside the trench with a boxcar marked Canadian National and Refrigerator on its side, and utility poles line the street into the distance.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
