What the image shows
A black-and-white photograph looking along a rough dirt track cut across flat, bare ground, with grassy embankments on the left and raised mounds of earth and scattered rocks on the right. Several utility poles with crossbars and wires run into the distance, and a cluster of industrial buildings with tall smokestacks sits on the horizon under a hazy grey sky. The lower foreground is dark, churned soil, and a watermark reading Archives de la Ville de Montréal appears in the bottom right corner.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
