Scope & content
Series consists of records created and accumulated by Heritage Canada Foundation in connection with Canada's federal, provincial and municipal governments and associated bodies. Records consist largely of correspondence external to the foundation, as well as newspaper clippings, drafts for publication, legislation, and meeting minutes. Heritage Canada Foundation was founded in 1973 by the federal Minister of Corporate and Consumer Affairs as a non-profit organization. From 1973 HCF corresponded with all levels of government to advocate for heritage legislation and to work with federal employees.
