Lancé à l’automne 2007, ce neuvième livre de l’historien Dany Côté nous amène au cœur de la fascinante histoire d’une ancienne ville de compagnie saguenéenne, celle de Kénogami. Fondée officiellement en 1912 par l’illustre homme d’affaires Sir William Price, pour les besoins d’une immense papeterie qui allait devenir au fil du temps la plus importante au monde, cette municipalité connut une courte existence de 63 ans. Cependant, bien des événements, dont plusieurs d’envergure internationale, façonnèrent la vie des Kénogamiens au gré des conjonctures sociales, politiques, religieuses et économiques.
