Scene on College Street at Y.M.C.A.; 12627 - Lined up outside the Dairy Building for inoculation. Not a very joyful procession; 12644 - Artillerymen trying the speed of their mounts. A storm is racing equally fast; 12654 - Clipping a horse that has just been passed by a Vetinary [sic] as suitable for the service; 12655 - Mounted recruits learning to properly walk their horses, also the horses to walk properly; 12657 - Seargeant [sic] Major Coleman sawing a slab of guncotton. If anything had gone wrong with the operation, there wouldn't be any photo of it; 12656 - Blowing up a steel rail with guncotton. The concussion shook the camera.
