Scope & content
The report--compiled by Saul Bernstein (and published as a bound book) for a Mr. David Rose of New York City--contains a synthesis of available literature about Newfoundland's religion, agriculture, social life, and "mineralogy," conducted in order to consider the province as a space for Jewish settlement.
