THE BRITISH BROADCASTING CORPORATIONHEAD OFFICE: BROADCASTING HOUSE, LONDON, W.1BUSH HOUSE, STRAND, LONDON, W.C.2Reference: Q7/EE/AL27th July 1965Dear Mr. Solomon,(Alexander Lieven)Assistant Head of East European ServiceMichael Solomon,6030 Cote St. Luc.,Montreal 29.Canada.EMMReference: O7/EE/AL(Alexander Lipson)6040 Cote St. Luc.,Thank you for your letter of 19th July. I am afraid that some of the delay about which you complained is due to me because, Charles Rositer being very busy, I undertook to edit your interesting scripts and have only just completed the work. I understand, however, from Charles Rositer that he did accept your first piece and that the fee has been credited to you. I very much hope that the same will happen with the second piece when the Head of European Talks Department has approved it.I understand, however, there may be some difficulty in forwarding the cheques to your present address in Canada and it may be best, if this is essential rather than having payment made to you in London, that you should write to Mr. Derek Sington who has now returned to the job which Charles Rositer was doing in his absence.Yours sincerely,Read automatically; may contain mistakes.
