Scope & content
Portrait. 22 female children are seated in 3 rows with one adult woman. All of the children are wearing white shirts. This is a Yehudiah physical education class. Pauline (the donor) is in the middle row, second from right. Narrative: Yehudia was a Jewish day school for girls on Dluga street in Warsaw. According to the donor, it had a strong religious and zionist leaning. The teachers were mostly men, in particular in religious subjects, and instruction was mainly in Hebrew. Secular subjects were taught in Polish.
