Since his arrival in Montreal from his native Lithuania in 1890, he has been actively identified with our congregation. A person of deep religious convictions, he has been in constant attendance ever since the day of his affiliation. He has served the congregation in the position of Parnass since 1939.His religious convictions reflect the totality of his outlook on life. Actively engaged in the business world virtually to the present, his resolute integrity of personal character has become recognized beyond the borders of city and community. He is honored, respected and beloved as a person of sterling worth. We of the congregation join with the members of his family in wishing for him length of days and happiness in the presence of his dear ones. While for ourselves we hope for the continuing joy to see him at his accustomed place at Synagogue services.Mr. Arnold Fineberg will be host at a Kiddush Reception in honour of his father on Shabbat, February 14th, 1970.
