- Scope & content
- Sepia, no border. Studio portrait of three women in front of a painted backdrop of trees. Helene Robitchek is standing, wearing a white blouse, long skirt, and large dark hat. Lisel is wearing a white dress with a white bow in her hair; she is standing on a rough-hewn wooden bench and holding a white stick. Lisel's grandmother is sitting beside her, wearing an elaborate black dress with a high white lace collar. Digital copy of original photograph saved on CD with corresponding documentation. Narrative: Helene Robitchek was Elsa Epstein’s sister (not related to the other Robitchek family). Her daughter Lisel became an actress and took the stage name Lisel Ruska. The woman has tentatively been identified as Lisel's paternal grandmother.
