- Scope & content
- Round face with a silver casing. Around the circumference edge are 2 seams with a high-relief centre. The back panel (with the back seam) unhinges to reveal an inscription (see inscription). The face is white with black roman numerals and minute digits around the circumference. The hands are simple bars that flare out and then in at the centre. Where the 6 should be is a smaller circle with printed numbers indicating seconds. The face is protected with a glass cover with a slight convex curve. Extending from the top centre of the case is a metal cylinder with beveled tiers and a ring going through the middle. The top of the cylinder rotates, which is how the watch is wound up to work (the smaller second indicator still works when wound). On the left side of the winder is a small button.
