Scope & content: Hard cover, inside cover has a rectangular piece of paper with columns on it. The first page has 2 circular ink stamps on it, as well as a circular symbol with an eagle inside of it. Narrative: Kampfbund für deutsche Kultur: The Militant League for German Culture was a nationalistic and antisemitic political society. Deustchlands Erneuerung: “Germany’s renewal”was published between 1917 and 1943 and was an important platform for the extreme right. Local branches of the NSDAP were encouraged to use its articles as the basis for their propaganda. J.F. Lehmanns Verlag, München: Munich-based publishing house established in September 1890 by Julius Friedrich Lehmann. It became one of Germany's most important publishers of medical literature as well as racist tracts. From1929 on, its publisher openly supported the Nazi Party.
