- Woven pattern found throughout the shawl's surface. Each end has 5 blue vertical stripes, of various widths, with additional woven designs inside. A strip of fabric (the neck band, known as an atarah) is sewn to one of the long edges. The corners have been reinforced with additional strips of fabric. Fringe is attached to both wide ends, indented slightly on each end. Narrative: Donor brought it from her grandparent's shul in Mateszalka, Hungary in July 1995.
