- Scope & content
- "Dear Sir, This will introduce to you Mrs. A. Sternberg, a lady who has acted as teacher in our night school for the past two years, and has shown herself fully qualified for the important and delicate position of teacher to our Jewish immigrants and poor. We have to thank her for in a measure bringing about the foundation of a Hebrew Night School in our midst. A McGill diploma which she bears will be, if necessary, a further proof of her capabilities. I respectfully bespeak for her your kind consideration should she apply for a similar position in New York. Yours very Respectfully, A. Goldstein Recipient's address: New York.
