PREMIER OF NEW BRUNSWICKFREDERICTONE3B 5H11784-1984Dear Friends of New Brunswick:Richard HatfieldApril 17, 1984I am delighted to learn of the 1984 Reunion of Jewish families planned for Saint John, New Brunswick. It is very appropriate that so many of our distinguished citizens whose Eastern European ancestors settled in Saint John, should honour the bicentennial with this assembly of families.New Brunswick and Saint John have benefited greatly from the influence on our culture and way of life, by the Jewish people who chose Saint John as their adopted home in Canada. Many of the descendants of the original Jewish immigrants have gone on to great accomplishments in the fields of education, medicine and commerce in many areas of the world. Those who have remained in our province, continue to enhance the quality of life we enjoy. On behalf of the people of New Brunswick I congratulate the organizing committee and extend a sincere welcome to all attending the 1984 reunion.Sincerely,Read automatically; may contain mistakes.
