- Letter: advising that the Province of Quebec has seen fit to rule that hunters and trappers, Indian and non-Indian, shall be required to have a hunting and trapping license for the current year under the Provincial Game Laws and Regulations. Advises that the government has agreed to charge Indians $1 per season, which is half the fee charged others. Instructs the Agents to issue these licenses to Indians only, not half-breeds or whites.
