- Extract of Minutes: resolving that the Indian Dept. take the necessary action to have a gun and traps which were seized on Oct 17th from [name of Golden Lake Band member], returned to him. It was also moved to have the gun which was seized from [name of Golden Lake Band member], returned to [name of Golden Lake Band member], the rightful owner. On July 7, 1939, Agent Farrell noted that he would be glad if the above motion could be granted but added that he felt that the Department of Indian Affairs had already done all that was possible.
