- Scope & content
- Letter: regarding case of John Peters, an Iroquois Indian claiming to be the owner of hunting and trapping rights along the Rideau River between the Town of Smith's Falls and Rideau Ferry. States he does not appear to have any title in his possession but seems he obtained it about 1904. Asks if such a right was ever given to a man named John Peters or John Sunday.
