- Letter: indicating that he sent a copy of Quebec Act granting hunting reserve to Indians, and that he also wrote concerning request for game warden to no avail. Stating that hunting reserve useless if there is no protection from white trappers. Asking again for appointment of game warden for next season. Also insulting Native men as to inability to face up to white trappers to defend way of life.
