- Scope & content
- Letter: commenting upon report received from Mr. Simpson. Advises that the Township of Lawrence is situated upon the confines of Algonquin National Park and states that the presence of the Indians might be a great danger to the preservation of the game in the Park as it would be impossible to keep Indians from hunting. States that there are 32 Indians settled in the Township of Nightingale and advises Reed to tell them that they have no rights there and they should not expect that these lands will be given to them.
