- Letter: advising that Chief Peter Charbot of the Algonquins has requested that the land in the Township of Lawrence which they occupied for the past 45 years be confirmed as a Reserve. Reed asks that Crown Lands take the necessary steps to have the land handed over to the Dept. of Indian Affairs to be dealt with in the best interests of the Indians.
