- Letter: reporting on the petition of Maik-Kwa for a grant of land on Lake Clare in Sebastopol Township. Advises that the lot numbers he wishes are Lot 21 in the 13th Concession and Lot 20 in the 1Oth Concession. Advises that although an affidavit stating he has cleared 10 arpents is untrue, petitioner states that he had not lied about the matter but must have been misunderstood because of his poor English.
